In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Unroll one package of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Unroll the second package of crescent roll dough and place it on top of the cream cheese mixture.

In a small saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the ground cinnamon.

Pour the cinnamon butter mixture over the top layer of dough.
