S’mores are a traditional American campfire treat, and these cupcakes capture all the flavors of the classic dessert in a convenient handheld form.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk.
  6. Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with the batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the cupcakes cool completely.
  9. Once cooled, use a small knife to cut a cone-shaped piece out of the center of each cupcake.
  10. Fill the hole with marshmallow fluff and replace the top of the cone.
  11. Frost the cupcakes with chocolate ganache and sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top.
  12. Toast mini marshmallows and place them on top of each cupcake.
