Ingredients
  • 4 ounce Butter
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 10-inch cast-iron skillet.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add the granulated sugar and stir until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture. Mix until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped nuts (if using).
  6. Pour the brownie batter into the greased skillet and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the brownies cool in the skillet for 10 minutes.
