Ingredients
  • 200 gram Butter
  • 100 gram Icing sugar
  • 300 gram All-purpose flour
  • 50 gram Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and icing sugar together until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and cornstarch.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
  5. Cover the dough and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie.
  8. Gently press down on each ball with a fork to create a decorative pattern.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  10. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Once cooled, store in an airtight container.
