Ingredients
  • 500 gram Potatoes
  • 200 gram Cheddar Cheese
  • 300 milliliter Milk
  • 30 gram Butter
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Peel and shred the potatoes.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic.
  4. Add the shredded potatoes to the saucepan and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. In a separate saucepan, heat the milk until hot.
  6. Add the hot milk to the potatoes and season with salt, black pepper, and thyme.
  7. Transfer the potato mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  9. Let the dish rest for 10 minutes before serving.
