Ingredients
  • 200 gram Butter
  • 100 gram Caster sugar
  • 300 gram Plain flour
  • 100 gram Rice flour
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and caster sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Sift in the plain flour and rice flour, then mix until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to a thickness of about 1cm.
  5. Cut the dough into petticoat tail shapes or any desired shape.
  6. Place the shortbread on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the shortbread cool on a wire rack for 30 minutes.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
