  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets into rectangular shapes.
  3. Spread cream cheese evenly over the puff pastry sheets.
  4. Place shiso leaves on top of the cream cheese.
  5. Roll up the puff pastry sheets tightly.
  6. Cut the rolls into 1-inch slices.
  7. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Beat the egg and brush it over the slices.
  9. Sprinkle sesame seeds, salt, and black pepper on top.
  10. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Serve hot and enjoy!
