Ingredients
  • 20 ounce Canned pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Ritz crackers
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Drain the pineapple chunks and reserve the juice.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the sugar and flour.
  4. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Gradually add the sugar and flour mixture to the melted butter, stirring constantly until well combined.
  6. Slowly mix in the reserved pineapple juice, stirring until thickened.
  7. Remove the saucepan from heat and fold in the pineapple chunks.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  9. In a separate bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese and crushed Ritz crackers.
  10. Sprinkle the cheese and cracker mixture over the pineapple mixture.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
  12. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
