Ingredients
  • 2 cup Basmati Rice
  • 4 cup Milk
  • 1.5 cup Sugar
  • 3 tablespoon Ghee
  • 1 teaspoon Cardamom
  • 2 tablespoon Raisins
  • 2 tablespoon Cashews
  • 2 tablespoon Almonds
  • 1 pinch Saffron
  • 1 teaspoon Rose Water
Instructions
  1. Wash the basmati rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Drain the rice and cook it in boiling water until it is 70% cooked.
  3. In a separate pan, heat ghee and fry cashews, almonds, and raisins until they turn golden brown. Set aside.
  4. In a large pan, heat milk and bring it to a boil. Add the cooked rice and cook on low heat until the rice is fully cooked and the milk thickens.
  5. Add sugar, cardamom, saffron, and rose water to the rice mixture. Mix well.
  6. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
  7. Garnish with fried cashews, almonds, and raisins.
  8. Serve hot or chilled.
