Ingredients
  • 250 gram All-Purpose Flour
  • 30 gram Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 100 gram Granulated Sugar
  • 75 gram Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Heave Cream
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Cocoa Powder, for dusting
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Using a sharp knife, carefully slice the cooled cocoa bread horizontally into 4 even layers.
  8. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  9. Place one layer of cocoa bread on a serving plate and spread a generous amount of whipped cream on top.
  10. Repeat this process with the remaining layers, ending with a layer of whipped cream on top.
  11. Dust the cocoa powder over the final layer of whipped cream.
  12. Allow the cocoa bread to rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
  13. Serve chilled and enjoy!
