Ingredients
  • 2 pound Potatoes
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 4 clove Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Chives
Instructions
  1. Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
  2. Drain the potatoes and let them cool slightly. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  3. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet and use a fork or potato masher to gently smash them.
  4. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter mixture over the smashed potatoes.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are crispy and golden brown.
