Ingredients
  • 500 gram Potatoes
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Grate the potatoes and onion. Squeeze out excess moisture.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the grated potatoes, onion, egg, flour, and salt.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the potato mixture into the hot oil and flatten with a spatula.
  5. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot with applesauce or sour cream.
