Ingredients
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1.5 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Raspberry Jam
  • 1 cup Pecans
  • 0.25 cup Powdered Sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until well combined.
  4. Press two-thirds of the dough into the bottom of a greased 9x9-inch baking pan.
  5. Spread the raspberry jam evenly over the dough.
  6. Crumble the remaining dough over the jam.
  7. Sprinkle the pecans on top.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool in the pan for 30 minutes.
  10. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
