Ingredients
  • 6 ounce Butter
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Raisins
  • 1/2 cup Chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the sour cream.
  4. Fold in the raisins and walnuts. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the bars to cool in the baking dish for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar. Cut into squares and serve.
