  1. In a large heavy-bottomed pan, bring the milk to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat and simmer the milk, stirring occasionally, until it reduces to half its original quantity.
  3. Add sugar, cardamom powder, almonds, pistachios, and saffron to the pan and mix well.
  4. Continue to simmer for another 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rabri thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool for 30 minutes.
  6. Serve chilled and garnish with more almonds and pistachios, if desired.
