  • 0.5 stick Butter
  • 0.5 cup Sugar
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 cup Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead it a few times.
  6. Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick circle and cut it into 8 wedges.
  7. Place the scones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
