  • 2 tablespoon Fresh sage leaves
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup Dried figs

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree and chopped sage leaves. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the pumpkin mixture and buttermilk until just combined. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently. Roll out the dough to 1-inch thickness and cut into biscuits using a round cutter. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Meanwhile, prepare the fig blue cheese butter by combining the dried figs, blue cheese, honey, and black pepper in a food processor. Pulse until well combined. Serve the warm biscuits with the fig blue cheese butter. Enjoy!
