Pumpkin muffins are a popular fall treat and are often enjoyed with a warm cup of coffee or tea.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, and milk until well combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped walnuts.

Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
