  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cloves
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Whole milk
  • 8 cup Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix well.
  4. Add the eggs to the butter-sugar mixture one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the pumpkin puree and vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
  7. Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
  9. Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  11. Gradually add the powdered sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese, beating until well combined.
  12. Once the cupcakes are completely cooled, frost them with the cinnamon cream cheese frosting.
