  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and pumpkin puree until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared crust.
  5. Bake for 60 minutes or until the center is set.
  6. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for 1 hour.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  9. Serve chilled with whipped cream on top.
