Ingredients
  • 500 gram Potatoes
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil
Instructions
  1. Boil the potatoes until tender. Peel and mash them.
  2. In a pan, sauté the chopped onion and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the sautéed onion and garlic to the mashed potatoes. Mix well.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Shape the potato mixture into croquettes.
  6. Dip each croquette into beaten egg, then roll in bread crumbs.
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry the croquettes until golden brown.
  8. Place the cooked croquettes on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  9. Let the croquettes rest for 10 minutes before serving.
