Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2 tablespoon Poppy Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1/3 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 teaspoon Lemon Zest
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, poppy seeds, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, vegetable oil, milk, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  5. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  9. Transfer the loaf to a wire rack to cool completely.
