  5. Melt the butter and pour it evenly into the popover pan or muffin tin.
  6. Place the pan in the preheated oven for 5 minutes.
  7. Carefully remove the pan from the oven and pour the batter into each cup, filling them about 3/4 full.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes, then reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the popovers are golden brown and puffed.
  9. Remove from the oven and let the popovers cool for a few minutes before serving.
