Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 stick Unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 tablespoon Cold water
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. Cut the butter into small pieces and add it to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Gradually add the cold water, 1 tablespoon at a time, and mix until the dough comes together.
  4. Shape the dough into a disk, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Roll out the chilled dough on a lightly floured surface to fit your pie dish.
  7. Transfer the rolled-out dough to the pie dish and press it gently into the bottom and sides.
  8. Trim any excess dough and crimp the edges.
  9. Fill the pie crust with your desired filling and bake according to the recipe instructions.
