  2. Add the pecans to the skillet and toss until they are evenly coated with the syrup mixture.
  3. Remove the skillet from heat and let the pecan mixture cool for 5 minutes.
  4. Using a tablespoon, drop spoonfuls of the pecan mixture onto parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until smooth.
  6. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the pecan clusters.
  7. Allow the pecan clusters to cool and harden for about 30 minutes before serving.
