Ingredients
  • 4 piece Pears
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 piece Eggs
  • 1.5 cup Flour
  • 0.5 cup Almond meal
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Apricot jam
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel and core the pears, then slice them thinly.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the sugar and butter.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, almond meal, vanilla extract, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Spread the batter evenly in a tart pan.
  8. Arrange the pear slices on top of the batter.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the pears are tender.
  10. Heat the apricot jam in a small saucepan until melted, then brush it over the top of the tart.
  11. Allow the tart to cool for 30 minutes before serving.
