  5. Press the dough into a tart pan, making sure to cover the bottom and sides evenly.
  6. Peel and core the pears, then slice them thinly. Arrange the pear slices on top of the tart crust.
  7. In a small bowl, beat the remaining egg. Brush the egg wash over the pear slices.
