Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup Unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup Creamy peanut butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup Chopped peanuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Reserve 1 cup of the crumb mixture for the topping. Press the remaining mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat together the creamy peanut butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the crust.
  5. Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips and chopped peanuts over the peanut butter layer. Crumble the reserved crumb mixture over the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
  7. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into bars. Serve and enjoy!
