Ingredients
  • 1 sheet Puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Sprinkle half of the sugar onto a clean work surface.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on top of the sugar, pressing gently to make the sugar stick to the pastry.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining sugar and cinnamon evenly over the pastry.
  5. Starting from one long side, roll each side of the pastry towards the center, creating two rolls that meet in the middle.
  6. Slice the rolled pastry into 1/2-inch thick slices.
  7. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cut-side down.
  8. Melt the butter and brush it over the tops of the palmiers.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  10. Allow the palmiers to cool on a wire rack before serving.
