  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Melt the dark chocolate and fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Pour the mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  8. Bake for 40 minutes or until the center is set.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  10. Transfer to a wire rack and let it cool completely.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
  12. Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  13. Remove the cheesecake from the pan and top with whipped cream.
  14. Garnish with crushed Oreo cookies.
  15. Serve chilled and enjoy!
