The Oreo cookie was introduced in 1912 and has since become one of the most popular cookies in the world.

Preheat the oven to 160°C.

Crush the Oreo cookies and mix them with melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Pour the cream cheese mixture over the Oreo crust in the pan.

Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set.

Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, remove the sides of the pan and let the cheesecake cool completely.

In a separate bowl, whip the whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Spread the whipped cream over the cooled cheesecake.

Drizzle chocolate sauce over the top of the whipped cream and sprinkle crushed Oreo cookies on top.

Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
