Ingredients
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 teaspoon Orange zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground cardamom
  • 2 tablespoon Melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, eggs, orange zest, cardamom, melted butter, vanilla extract, and heavy cream. Mix well until smooth.
  2. Heat a krumkake iron or pizzelle press.
  3. Drop a tablespoon of the batter onto the iron and close it. Cook for about 30 seconds or until golden brown.
  4. Carefully remove the krumkake from the iron and shape it into a cone while it's still hot. You can use a cone-shaped mold or simply roll it around a wooden dowel.
  5. Let the krumkake cool and set for about 1 hour before serving.
  6. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
  7. Serve the krumkake as is or fill it with whipped cream, jam, or any desired filling.
