Ooey Gooey Nutella Brownies
Nutella was created in the 1940s by an Italian pastry maker named Pietro Ferrero during World War II when cocoa was in short supply. He added hazelnuts to extend the chocolate supply, creating a spreadable chocolate-hazelnut paste that eventually became the beloved Nutella we know today.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 70 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 10.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the Nutella and unsalted butter together in the microwave.

In a separate large bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs.

Add the melted Nutella mixture to the sugar mixture and mix well.

In a medium bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the Nutella mixture, stirring until just combined.

Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and chopped hazelnuts.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
