Ingredients
  • 14 ounce Pizza dough
  • 2 large Onions
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 cup Walnuts
  • 1 cup Gorgonzola cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until caramelized, about 15 minutes.
  4. Stir in the balsamic vinegar, honey, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Spread the onion confit evenly over the pizza dough.
  6. Sprinkle the walnuts and gorgonzola cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
  8. Let the pizza rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
