  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pumpkin pie spice
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Canned pumpkin puree
  • 0.75 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup Chopped pecans
  • for serving Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. In a large skillet, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Stir until well combined.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the skillet and mix well.
  5. Stir in the canned pumpkin puree until fully incorporated.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the skillet, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
  8. Smooth the top of the batter with a spatula.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.
