Ingredients
  • 100 gram Butter
  • 100 gram Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Molasses
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 200 gram All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 100 gram Granulated sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the molasses and egg, and mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  7. Roll each ball in granulated sugar to coat.
  8. Place the coated balls on a baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
