  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Raisins
  • 1/2 cup Chopped walnuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Fold in the raisins and chopped walnuts.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
