  • 2 cup Oats
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C)
  2. In a bowl, combine oats, flour, baking soda, and salt
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown
  9. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely
