Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine oats, flour, shredded coconut, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Cut in the butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg and vanilla extract. Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.

Press two-thirds of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Spread raspberry jam evenly over the oat mixture.
