Ingredients
  • 1 cup Mixed nuts
  • 1 small Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic cloves
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 piece Burger buns
  • 4 leaf Lettuce
  • 4 slice Tomato
  • 4 tablespoon Mayonnaise
Instructions
  1. In a food processor, pulse the mixed nuts until finely chopped.
  2. In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped nuts, sautéed onion and garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, chili powder, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Shape the mixture into patties and refrigerate for 5 minutes.
  5. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  6. Toast the burger buns.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf, a nut patty, a tomato slice, and a tablespoon of mayonnaise on each bun.
  8. Serve the nut burgers with your favorite side dish.
