Ingredients
  • 500 gram Potatoes
  • 150 gram Onion
  • 100 gram Breadcrumbs
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 100 gram Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 unit Burger buns
  • 4 leaf Lettuce
  • 1 unit Tomato
  • 4 tablespoon Mayonnaise
Instructions
  1. Peel and grate the potatoes. Squeeze out the excess moisture.
  2. Finely chop the onion and grate the cheddar cheese.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, egg, cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the loaf.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let the loaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  8. Toast the burger buns.
  9. Assemble the burger loaf by placing a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato on the bottom bun. Add a slice of the potato loaf and top with mayonnaise.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy!
