Ingredients
  • 200 gram Butter
  • 200 gram Granulated Sugar
  • 200 gram All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Almond Extract
  • 100 gram Sliced Almonds
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and almond extract, and mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the flour and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Press the dough into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
  8. Cut into bars and allow to cool completely before serving.
