  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2/3 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow the cupcakes to cool in the tin for 5 minutes. Then, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Decorate with frosting or toppings of your choice.
