  • 2 cup Nectarines
  • 2 cup Plums
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine the sliced nectarines, plums, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and 1/4 cup of granulated sugar.
  5. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until just combined.
  7. Pour the fruit mixture into the greased baking dish.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of the batter over the fruit mixture.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
