Ingredients
  • 2 cup Almond flour
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 0.75 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Almond extract
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 0.25 cup Sliced almonds
  • 0.25 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together almond flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in almond extract.
  4. Gradually mix in the flour mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
