  5. Spread the mushroom mixture evenly over the puff pastry.
  6. Fold the edges of the pastry inward to create a border.
  7. Brush the beaten egg over the pastry border.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
  9. Allow the tart to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  10. Slice and serve warm.
