M&M’s were first created in 1941 as a convenient way for soldiers to enjoy chocolate without it melting.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 70 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 10.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.

Fold in the M&M's and chocolate chips.

Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let cool in the baking dish for 30 minutes.
