Ingredients
  • 100 gram Butter
  • 100 gram Granulated sugar
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 150 gram All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mint extract
  • 3 drop Green food coloring
  • 100 gram Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in the mint extract and green food coloring.
  7. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Flatten each ball with the bottom of a glass dipped in powdered sugar.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  10. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
