  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove the donuts from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  7. Roll the warm donuts in powdered sugar until coated.
