Ingredients
  • 1 cup Popcorn kernels
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C).
  2. Pop the popcorn kernels and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt to the saucepan. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
  6. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and baking soda.
  7. Pour the caramel sauce over the popcorn and mix until the popcorn is coated.
  8. Spread the caramel-coated popcorn onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  11. Break apart any large clumps of caramel corn.
  12. Serve and enjoy!
